The Bright Moon Over Northland

We love the beautiful clear nights here in Northern Wisconsin, so Joel thought he'd capture a picture of the moon on our camera.

Nature Hike...and watermelon

On Tuesday, June 26, we went with mom and dad Williams to Smalley Falls and Long Slide Falls in Marrinette County for a little hike and beautiful scenery. Mom, being the nature lover that she is, came up with the great idea. Dad liked the idea just so long as he got watermelon out of the deal. We all had a great time!

Kevin, Holly, and Hudson's visit

Kevin, Holly, and Hudson were up at Northland for camp. We had so much fun seeing them. On Thursday we went to Goodman Park. You can see why I love summer up here in Wisconsin!

June 17th was our first anniversary! On Friday we went to the big city (Greenbay) to spend the day together. We had such a fun time traveling and walking around. We went to Gratzie's for a wonderful meal. Can't get good Italian like that in Iron Mountain! :)

Happy Birthday Joel!!

June 10 was Joel's birthday. We went out with mom and dad to our new favorite place in Iron Mountain, Holiday Kitchen, for lunch. We had a little party for him later at mom and dad's house...notice we didn't have any birthday candles though :) Tea lights work!

This has been Joel the past couple weeks as he is trying to get done all of his projects and reading before June 22. He's pulling some long hours this week, but learning lots!

It's been a whole year now since our wedding! It's flown by so fast, yet at the same time it seems like we have been married for years :) We've had a wonderful first year of marriage. We have been living up in Dunbar, WI at Northland for the past year as Joel works on his Masters Degree. He has one more year left and then we will see what the Lord has for us from there. Beginning this Fall Joy will be teaching K-5 at Pioneer Christian School, Northland's brand new school.
